Boarding / Long Term Boarding/ Doggie Day Care
Boarding and long term boarding at Grandma Karen's place. Available 7 days a week, plus Holidays. This is a very popular service and books very fast. Regardless of your pet’s breed, age, behavior, or disability, each of my services can be curated to fit their specific needs. Contact me today for a Meet and Greet. PRICES: Start as low as $30 a night for cat boarding and $50 a night per dog. DOGGIE DAY CARE is by reservation only Hours of Operation: Monday thru Sunday: 10 am to 5 pm (earlier drop off and late pick up times are available if scheduled ahead of time) Our day care program consists of a playtime and rest time rotation to give the dogs physical and mental breaks and avoid being overwhelmed. Holidays, puppies, and seniors are extra. PRIVATE/EXCLUSIVE services are available for those anxious dogs, reactive dogs, hospice care, and dogs that do not do well with others. If you want your dog to be the only one at Grandma's this service is perfect for your fur-baby. Ask Grandma for more details on our private/exclusive services. All pets must be current with Vaccines: DOGS *Rabies Vaccine *Distemper/Parvo Vaccine *Bordetella *Flea and Tick Control *Influenza *Please speak with your vet *If traveling from out of state a Local Veterinarian Wellness Check is REQUIRED We are unable to provide services for any dogs without the Rabies vaccine due to California/Animal Control law unless you get a waiver from the County of Riverside vet, Dr. Drusys. This is the only vet in Riverside County that we can legally accept a note from. You can reach the office of Dr. Drusys at 951-358-7545. If your dog has reactions to DHPP or Bordetella, we can accept a waiver from your dog's personal vet. CATS, require rabies and FVRCP of one or three years as written by your vet. All vaccines must be given by a licensed veterinarian and may be given up to or including the day of your arrival. Vaccinations given by the owner or anyone else will not be accepted. It is your responsibility to provide us with proof of vaccination prior to your pet’s visit. Grandma looks forward to caring for your pet(s), but we cannot assist you in getting vaccination information. In addition, all dogs (unless you are requesting private/exclusive services) must pass a temperament evaluation to make sure prospective dogs are socially fit for Grandma's program without feeling too anxious or stressed out and that it’s a good fit for everyone involved. I typically like to do an initial assessment with the Paw-Parents spend 10-30 minutes with prospective dogs to get the best feel for how the dog will do in my care. After, I like to do a 2 hour mini doggy day care and will ask the pet parent to leave their dog with me so I can get a better idea of the dog’s temperament while the pet parent is away. If 4 months has lapsed since your last stay, a re-evaluation is required before returning to daycare or boarding.
House/Pet Sitting at Owner's Home
Grandma Karen brings all the Lovin to your place. This service is offered at the Pet Owner's home. Great service to not disrupt a pet from their daily routine, as well as keep an eye on your home while you are away, check the mail, and water plants. Regardless of your pet’s breed, age, behavior, or disability, each of my services can be curated to fit their specific needs — no matter how unique. My Overnight Pet Sitting service is one of my specialties and is often booked well in advance. Bed & Breakfast Pet Sitting: “Almost Overnight” $125 per Night This is great for pets that enjoy some extra love! Two hours in the evening and one hour the following morning. The exact arrival and departure times are determined with each client. (Additional time may be booked as a drop-in visit). Price includes 2 pets, +$5 if more than two pets. Overnight $150 per Night Grandma stays at your home from bedtime until breakfast (10 hours, additional time may be booked as a drop-in visit or live-in care) – Price includes one healthy pet, +$35 if more than one. This is one of our most popular services. It’s great for pets that likes to cuddle! Exact arrival and departure times are determined with each client. Live-In Care $250 per Day This service has Grandma live at your home as if it is her own and guarantees your pets will never be alone for more than four hours at a time. Booked as 24-hour periods. Price includes 2 pets, +$5 if more than two. Limited availability Holidays. special needs, and puppies are extra.
Pet Nanny/Taxi/Pop Ins/Walks
Does your pup need a ride to the Vet's? Or maybe to the groomer's? Do you need a Pet Taxi? Are you moving across State and need a Pet transporter? Have an appointment you can't get to because you are working or away? Let Grandma Karen take your pet to the Vet. Pet Taxi starts as low as $35, includes 2 pets & first 10 miles, $3 a mile thereafter. Sunday, Holidays and puppies are extra. Pop Ins, Yes a Little Dab will Do! Do you have an independent pet, all you need is someone to Pop In, check on your pet while you are away, and feed? This service is great for cats too. Grandma Karen can help! Pop In/Drop in visit: Book a session today. 30 Minutes: $35 45 Minutes: $45 60 Minutes: $55 Drop-In Visits are my most popular service! These visits are fully customizable to meet your pet’s needs. This service is for 1 pet, +$5 for each additional pet. Visits are available 24/7, 365 days a year. Shorter and longer visits are available upon request. Daily Dog Walking $35 per Walk 30 minute visit to customize the walk to meet your pup’s needs! Grandma is trained to always check the temperature of the pavement before walks. Price includes one dog, each additional is +$5. Walks are available from 7am to 7pm, 365 days a year! Longer walks are available upon request. Length of walk will be determined by the weather and your dog’s health. Longer walks available upon request. Adventure Walk $65 per Session Perfect for high energy pups! Your pup gets a lot of exercise at a nature trail close to your home! Includes pick-up and drop-off and 1.5 hours of time. Longer outings can be accommodated for an additional fee Price includes 2 dogs Private Long-Distance Pet Transportation: Rates start at $300, contact Grandma for your custom quote! This isn’t your typical pet transportation, this is a highly customized experience to ensure your pets have the adventure of a lifetime, and get to their destination safely. Grandma is registered USDA Registered Animal Transporter Nationwide Pet Sitting Rates start at $200, contact Grandma for your custom quote!
